On September 12, 2024, Schoolcraft County commissioners approved a two-year lake level special assessment roll and computation of costs [hyperlink to post] for Indian Lake. The lake level special assessment will appear on property owners' 2024 and 2025 winter tax bills.
If a property owner would like to appeal the special assessment in court, the deadline is September 27, 2024.
Property owners have the opportunity to prepay their assessment until October 11, 2024.
